- To help Families earn revenue for tuition costs
Who can Sign up?
- Current UMEI Students & their Families
- Future UMEI students and their families
(You can start earning towards future tuition costs now!)
How it works:
- UMEI buys gift cards at a 5% discount and sells them to members
- Members sell these gift cards to relatives/friends/neighbours at full value
- 50% of the discount is passed on to a family in the form of a tuition credit, and 50% continues to go to the school’s general operating account
- As always, dollar for dollar value is received when purchasing from SHOP UMEI. The actual donation is being made by the store!
How to become a member:
- Registration forms are available online at the bottom of this page, or at the school’s office
- For families who sign up, there is absolutely no downside; there are no minimum or maximum sales requirements, and no obligation at any time to continue with the programme

- Metro – $50, $100
- Sobeys / Price Chopper – $50
- Loblaws / Superstore / No Frills / Zehrs – $50, $100
(Tip: Even more tuition credits can be earned by purchasing gas at Superstore with gift cards!)
- Tim Hortons – $10, $20, $50
(Tip: Makes a great Birthday or Christmas Present!)
