Volleyball

The volleyball teams participate in WECSSAA league play.  The league is divided into three tiers.  UMEI Christian High School competes in Tier III and has had good success at that level.  The teams also travel to tournaments both locally and to OCSSAA (Ontario Christian Secondary School Athletic Association) events in Southern Ontario.

Boys’ Volleyball 2009-10 - The boys played well this season in WECSSAA Tier III play.  We were in first place until the final game of the season when we simply ran out of gas.  We also had a solid OCSSAA tournament in November.   

**Thanks, guys, for a fun season of volleyball, especially learning to hit quicks (and actually pulling them off in games).  To the Grade Twelve players – thanks for dedicating time to this game for your years at UMEI.  To the rest of the players – I hope to see you back next year.  LIGHTNING STRIKES!!!
